Most individuals, companies and organisations keep paper records of some description. Rapter offer quality document scanning services which can help save on retrieval time, retrieval and storage costs plus storage space. We can convert any document type, black & white or colour, from business card size upto a maximum width of 914mm (36") by any realistic length into a high definition digital image output to any of the industry standard image formats e.g. TIFF, JPEG or PDF.

We can also create and provide document indexing data along with the images for ease of retrieval or integration into existing document management systems. Rapter have the expertise to generate specific indexing data based on customers requirements and specifications. This can be a simple as naming the image files by a file number or name, or as complicated as supplying a seperate text or database file containing multiple fields of indexing e.g. Name, NI Number, Payroll Number, Date of Birth.

These scanning services can be combined with our image processing and *OCR services to provide additional benefits. Our image processing and image enhancement techniques can be used in the recovery of document information from poor quality masters, we can also process scanned pages with *OCR to provide a fully searchable digital version of the original paper or film based documents.

Whilst your documents are on site with Rapter, we provide secure storage for the term of the scanning process. After which the documents can be returned or can be disposed of using our secure document destruction service.
